How to register for STEM Online NZ and DT & HM Online for NCEA courses

Self-registering at The University of Auckland is the first step teachers and students need to take to gain access to STEM Online NZ and DT & HM Online for NCEA courses.

Accessing STEM Online NZ and DT & HM Online for NCEA resources is a 3-step process:

Students and teachers must all self-register with The University of Auckland to create an account and receive a unique username and ID number.

Note: Teachers who have studied or worked at The University of Auckland are likely to already have an account and should contact us for these details if unknown.

The teacher sends their details and/or their students’ details to the STEM Online NZ team. (We recommend that teachers register themselves to begin with to review the resources, then register their students at a later date.)
The STEM Online NZ team will then enrol teachers and students in their chosen course(s) on CANVAS, The University of Auckland’s Learning Management System. This will allow access to the STEM Online NZ resources.

Please allow up to 3 working days for the registration process.
